Tribute to Air, Tori no Uta

Gazing upon the starry sky,
sparkles of wonders within eyes,
came dancing fireflies.
Where art thou in the summer night,
full in the gown of virtuous white,
dressed in silver moonlight.
The limit of the sky is but too far,
and the cast chases down
the sickly heart.
Farewell,
Let one day my talent on par
with the curses that drown
the shattered fate.
One day, I will set you free,
so the feathers
will again accompany the wind.
One day, I will not flee,
so I can finally
with my burden heavy stand.
Wait for me,
the 1000th summer,
the poem of the birds will ring.
Wait for me,
the 1000th summer,
above the clouds,
stretch,
the first beating of wing.
