11/27/2010

Older posts are being slowly placed in their respective categories. I hope this change will make the readings more uniform. The "Word" section in particular is being updated till mid of 2008. There is still quite a bit way to go, but the progress is encouraging.

On the other hand, I have re-discovered one of the first pieces I wrote under the "the Prince of Ednia" section. It was an entry I forgot almost completed about the background of the guardian, titled appropriately as "the Guardian." So a lot of memories flew back, which made me quite pleased. I was fond of the little piece, although the backdrop of "the Prince of Ednia" needs to expand a lot further. Otherwise, in the current "Perspective" series, I will have one perspective from Sharron and one from Kathy. However, one or two other perspectives are currently planned to proceed before the main characters of this short series. One will probably be Kaen, and another might be Sharmila/Karen (mother to Sharmila, Sharron, and Sharfenn; wife to Sharkra). On that note, I need to come up with more creative names not starting with S or K.

Hopefully I will be able to convey most of the character relationship from the tournament arc and move onto something else. How is everything going to be tied together? I have no clues at this point.

Well, graduate school has been keeping me busy so I don't know how much time I will have on hand to continue writing the section. I have been skipping transfer all the personal updates from the previous blog. Well, it was a bit embarrassing when I read an entry in the time of procrastination before my organic chemistry final. Since I did well in the class, I don't think there is any holding up. I wonder why I shied away from those entries. As said before, Ednia will be an on-going project, so I am eager to see what will come out of it in the end.

Anyways, I have been talking to a friend who had a "crush" on Parsee from Subterranean Animism (he liked the character setting, simply put), and I responded by posting an image of Hina from Mountain of Faith. Well, ribbons can do more than what you think. On the topic of Touhou, I still has not been able to beat PCB without a continue, nor just Kanoko under practice mode (I had three continues just against her), nor passing stage 2 of UFO (being very careless to item auto-collect on Kogasa's spell card). So I will be putting Touhou aside here and there, since practicing doesn't seem to have an effect on the level of instant stupidity (Oh a bullet, I guess I can run into it).

So Black Friday has been kind to me or just tempting enough that I have brought a television on Amazon. It will be good to pick up where I was in Person 3 FES, or just hacking around in .Hack//GU vol 3. The problem will be time, which makes me always envy Sakuya's Lunar Dial.

Well, I have to get some progress on my project. So I probably will not have a lot of time for this place. But eventually.

Here is some service before I take off. I want to post the delicious Hina image, but I don't think this blog will be at the safe level I was going for then. So something cool instead.
Good luck.

The End of the Live Spaces

A long, long time ago, my blog lived in Windows Live Space. It was a secret garden of thoughts and stories, where photos and pictures thrived. The Halo 3 theme was my favorite especially, which made everything uniform and mysterious at the same time.
But, it is no longer the home where thoughts belong. I know that one day, it will perish in the waves of innovation and popularity. My wish was in a state of ambivalence:  though I wish it will prosper, it shall remain hidden.

So, what has been done is done. Migration to Wordpress. The original twilight has lost its brilliance; all it left is an hollowed shadow.

As this serves as the face of the moon, the duty of the sun will be thus passed down. Deference to irresistible fate, I shall raise my flag again. In the storm wind of a constantly changing world, my voice shall remain as it is.

Faith to the new-found land.
